Rosset French Memorial Park: 10 acres of land with frontage on Township
Line Road (South). In 1995, the Park Board coordinated the development and
adoption of a cooperative agreement with the Lower Perkiomen Little League (LPLL)
for the construction of a major league dimensional baseball field that has
been used by LPLL and the local high school. Plans are being developed for
the park playground which sits on an open area behind the home plate area of
the baseball field.

Palmer
Park: The official groundbreaking for this new park was held on March 7,
1999. The park is situated behind the new Skippack Elementary School off of
Heckler Road. The 55 acre park was purchased through the Montgomery County
Open Space Program in 1997, and when completed, will include walking paths,
basketball and tennis courts, picnic pavilions, soccer, field hockey and
baseball fields. Part of the park will also be reserved for use as a nature
area with plans for environmental education programs to be held there.
